G'day from yesterday!

The past 36 hours has seen us hurtling forwards in space and backwards in time so that if you're reading this on Tuesday, we're still getting over Monday. Speaking of getting over, that's pretty much how we've spent our time thus far...

First there was the getting over the ocean which for the most part looked like this:

Getting over to Singapore for George's favourite Changi treats: congee & coffee in a can!

A short transit stop in Seoul Incheon Airport where George couldn't quite get over what to make of Korean TV:

And finally after trying to kip like kippers, we finally get over to San Francisco.

Funny thing: within our first half hour, we managed to see our first cop car; our first cop and our first arrest*

By now we're all kinds of knackered. We are met by May and Jeff, our gracious hosts in SF. May is the sister of Angie whom longtime WYMFU readers will remember from our London exploits. Obviously generosity and hospitality towards bedraggled travellers run deep in this family.

Later that day we take a stroll around Castro, a nearby festive part of town. It's late afternoon where Happy Hour is well underway but our droopy eyelids can barely manage to take it all in.

Dinner tonight is what Jeff calls San Francisco's best Chicago deep pan pizza.

(not one of our photies - by now I can barely get my eyes to focus let alone a camera.)

More as soon as we've time-zone adjusted ourselves...

*Not actually OUR arrest - chill out Mom
